I trained with Coach Masters Academy in Singapore. Became an Advanced Practitioner of Transformational Coaching. Earned my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) badge with the International Coaching Federation. And eventually joined the Great Resignation — leaving corporate behind to build something of my own.

Since 2021, as Life Coach Vjohn (LCV), I’ve spoken to over 55 corporate clients, coached more than 300 individuals, and partnered with organizations across industries — from SM, DepEd, and Max’s Group to Sanofi, Sunlight Air, and Bose. My work has been consistent in one thing: helping people and teams ignite their potential, bridge divides, and thrive in a complex world.​

Because in the end, leadership isn’t about position.
It’s about leading yourself, so you can lead your life.

Those lessons followed me beyond school. In government service, I found myself leading barangay captains more than twice my age. One told me, “Yung edad mo, taon na ng serbisyo ko ’yan.” I wasn’t older, but I knew how to connect — and that made all the difference.

Later, in corporate, I was the youngest management trainee at UnionBank. They called me “Class President” because I wasn’t just leading sales meetings, but also building culture — organizing outreach, birthdays, and Christmas celebrations. Young in age, but old in spirit.

When I returned to government in business-government relations, I became the bridge between two worlds: helping companies and public officials communicate, collaborate, and move forward together.

And through it all, one thing never left me: coaching. For more than a decade, I volunteered in Lasallian retreats for high school and college students — guiding not just them, but also their parents, toward clarity and connection.

Then the world stopped. COVID hit. The connections I believed in were tested. People were anxious, isolated, and searching for direction. That’s when I realized my calling wasn’t just something I did on the side — it was my life’s work.
